How old do I have to be to take part in the fitness classes?
Members can participate in all classes, with the exception of Teens aged under 16 who are not able to take part in Body Pump due to resistance weights used in the class. We also have Plus 55 classes and programs that are specifically run for older adults 55yrs+ and over. If you are wishing to take part in these classes for rehabilitation or other reasons, please contact the centre prior to the class to discuss options.
Can I just attend your group fitness classes casually?
Yes you can. All group fitness classes can be paid for on a casual basis, concession rates do apply. There is also the option for visit passes for these classes.
Do I have to book the classes ahead of the day?
No you do not need to book to attend the classes, although it is advisable to arrive 15 minutes early to secure your space in the class, and be ready for the class on time.
What if I arrive late?
You are able to check in to a class up to 5 minutes after the start time. Unfortunately, due to missing too much of the class warm up, is unsafe for us to allow you to participate after this time.
Where do I find a copy of your group fitness timetable?
You can locate this on the Group Fitness area of the website. Alternatively you can call the centre for the latest timetable, or drop in to pick one up.
