Kingston Active is committed to ensuring that Waves Leisure Centre remains up to date with current community expectations and in addition to recent accessible change rooms works, we will also be completing a range of upgrades within the Centre throughout June and July. Where possible we strive to complete works whilst causing minimal disruption to our members and users, however the upcoming program will require various area closures as well as a full Centre closure for a 10 day period in the July school holidays. Please find below a full program of works scheduled for completion:
Full Centre Closure 1st – 10th July 2019
During the proposed 10 day shutdown, we will be completing the following works:
50m Pool Closure 1st – 14th July 2019
The 50m pool will be closed for the 2 weeks of the school holidays, whilst we re-grout and repair all edge tiles within this pool. The wave, learners, toddler pools and splash zone will all re-open on the 11th July 2019.
Steam Room Closure 1st – 14th July 2019
The Steam room will also be closed for 2 weeks for a complete refurbishment. The sauna and spa will re-open on the 11th July 2019.
Spin Room Closure 1st – 14th July 2019
The Spin Room will be inaccessible for 2 weeks due to works on the 50m pool. RPM & Spin classes will recommence on Monday 15th July 2019.
Members will receive email communication outlinning how this closure will impact their memberships and scheduled payments.
