Kingston Active Outdoor Summer Series

 

Get active outdoors and smash some fitness goals this February with Kingston Active Outdoor Summer Series. It’s a great way to get active in your community, try something new, or mix up your workout.

See below for session details, times, locations and how to book. 

Sunset Yoga and Yoga in the Park

These classes will help bring your body and mind together, and is built on three main elements – exercise, breathing and meditation We recommend bringing your own mat.

Yoga in the Park  9:45am Wednesday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th February at Keith Styles Reserve, Mentone Parade

Sunset Yoga  7:00pm Friday 7th and 21st February at Keith Styles Reserve, Mentone Parade

Tai Chi in the Park

This class follows an ancient Chinese exercise system that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Tai Chi in the Park  8:30am Friday 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th February at Keith Styles Reserve, Mentone Parade

Boxing and Circuit Training

These classes offer a full-body cardio and muscle toning workout that will improve your aerobic fitness, co-ordination and overall health. Boxing gloves and pads are provided but feel free to bring your own.

Boxing 6:30pm Monday 10th February at Moorabbin Reserve, Linton Street

Circuit Training 6:30pm Monday 17th February at Moorabbin Reserve, Linton Street

Bootcamp

This class is designed to build strength, endurance and mental toughness through a variety of intense intervals and team challenges.

Bootcamp  7:30am Saturday 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th February at Waves Leisure Centre

Walking Group

This class follows an outdoor path and incorporate a warmup, body weight exercises, cool down and stretches to help improve mobility and cardiovascular fitness. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Walking Group  9:00am Sunday 2nd February at Mordialloc Life Saving Club

 

Kingston Active Members can access all classes for free. Casual participants are welcome to attend at just $11 per session.

Bookings are essential.
