Aquatic Facility Use FAQS
How old do my children have to be to go in the pool on their own?
Our Centre's follow the Watch Around Water program, whereby children under 5 years, must have a Parent or Guardian in the water within arm length at all times, and children under 10 years must be actively supervised at all times. Whilst using the Wave pool, children under the age of 10 years must be within arms reach of a parent or guardian, whilst the waves are in operation. Kingston Active recommend that children over the age of 10 years remain actively supervised by a parent or guardian, and reserve the right to remove any child from the water should their safety be of concern.
